40 Years Of Bliss

40 Years Add Up

 

On April 28, 2024 Denise and I celebrated the milestone of 40 years married. 

40 years!  

  • That's  14,610 Days.   
    • 350,640 Hours 
    • 2,087 of so of those days were Mondays, 
      • or Saturdays. 

We look young, don't we?

That's because Denise was 19 years old and I ws 20 years old on that wonderful day!   (If you're handy at math,  I'm 60 now.   Denise is barely 30.)

We have celebrated so many events and recalled their milestones along the way. 

   We brought two wonderful kids into our family. 

   We moved a BUNCH of times. 

   We said goodbye to too many of those we love. 

   We said hello to wonderful family and loved ones. 

 

 

There is one goodbye..

On April 28, 2024  it was also the 100th anniversary of my Mother's birth.  She was born in 1924.    

We didn't intend to marry on my Mom's birthday.   It just happened to be the Saturday after Easter Sunday in 1984.    Nonetheless,  it's often been a kick to recall this date for her and for us. 

    Mom died on Wednesday March 4,  2020  at the age of 95.   Two months short of 96.
