Feeding tubes

Feeding Tubes Previously

Feeding tubes have a certain mystery that added stigma and fear for me,  to the extent that the fear  impacted our decisions with respect to care.

In December of 2014, Denise had an NJ Tube put in because she was starving.
Within 6 months,  she had reached the end of an acceptable period to have an  NJ tube in. The tube was removed and Denise went in for surgery to insert a J Tube,  but was not able to complete that step.

Instead the NJ tube was eventually removed and Denise started to eat again!

Thanks be to God.

Now, in 2019 malnutrition has returned.
The delayed surgery from 2014  will insert a J -tube into her side.
