Good morning!  3/15/20 God is good!  The night was not very restful, as hospitals can be.       The staff was very nice, though  in addition to the taking of vitals Denise had some trouble sleeping well. (Apparently due to the breathing suppression side effects of the pain medicine).  Nonetheless, the pain has been managable. …

The surgery finished successfully around 7:00 pm. The doc says it went well.  After a couple of hours, Denise was put into her room for the night.  She’s sleeping off the anesthesia, now. 

They started her surgery at 5:26 pm  Report is that things are going well.   The procedure takes a couple of hours. 

Denise’s  surgery will be starting a couple of hours later than planned.  She is  thankful for the air-warmed gown that they have now a days.   She is reading Anne of Windy Poplars as she waits. 

Denise T Surgery Day  Denise will be having surgery to put in a J-Tube to overcome issues that have caused her to be in a state of malnutrition.  The surgery is scheduled for March 14, 2019.   In Charlotte.  In a hospital.
