The team started to advance Denise’s feed rate in the J tube, slowly to see how she tolerates it.
Not very well. The formula was backing up into her throat, causing pain and burning. , So they have had to slow the feed. The goal is a rate 4x the current rate. Denise has not eaten yet.
All day with minimal nutrition has Denise very tired. They reset IV fliuds to help.
Meanwhile, she’s still pretty sore.
