Journey Home

Denise spent a full week in hospital.   Her hospital stay was from Monday night to Monday a week later.

She’s at home and recovering.   (This post is now just over three weeks since the surgery, and  two weeks and a few days at home.)
The challenges remain –  pain from major surgery is basically constant, and sometimes flares significantly.
A J-tube feeding tube is in, but provides discomfort more than it provides nutrition.
She is able to eat a little bit of food, and is working hard to be able to tolerate getting nutrition from the j-tube.
All of that means that her ability to be active is limited, and her energy levels remain pretty low.   But she has energy to listen to Jesus and cling to Him.     She does a little bit of each day and tries to keep moving, and help her healing.
Flowers, notes and mentions of prayer are a blessing.
